Filler, 2018

In this 360˚ interactive YouTube video, a set of slowed-down instructional demonstrations of “how to fill the holes in your body” plays randomly. Each demonstration appears at a different location within the 360˚ space, prompting the viewer to perform the act of searching as they watch. Requires headphones and smartphone. Shown in the group exhibition, META_”REAL”_WORLD at the Visual Arts Center.

Exhibition text:
META_“REAL”_WORLD is an exhibition of recent work presented by students from UT’s Fall 2017 Advanced Expanded Media class that focuses on the creative use and misuse of digital technologies at the nexus of art and practice.
